Fair Lawn, NJ (PRWEB) November 20, 2012
Center Stage Productions, a leading designer, manufacturer and installer of custom themed soft play areas, has developed a brand new “healthy living” themed play area uniquely for Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto, CA.
The custom designed indoor play area promotes excellent health through diet and exercise as all elements contained within the play area embody the theme of “healthy living.” The play area’s centerpiece is a large peach tree with a double slide and is accompanied by a Yosemite hiking trail, a climb-on dairy cow, a Tuolumne River kayak, a hop-on tractor and a crawl-through fruit stand with an interior mini cash register.
These squishy soft play pieces are surrounded by a custom created padded carpet, which absorbs impact and exceeds ASTM’s standards for drop and fall ratings, ultimately protecting children and keeping them safe. In addition, parents will not have to worry about germs because Center Stage Productions’ play pieces are coated with naturally antimicrobial urethanes, which inhibit the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.
Finishing touches incorporated within the play area include an enclosure adorned with wine grape arbors in each corner, interior wall-mounted interactive activities, comfortable seating, shoe cubbies and exterior counter space. “This play area has all the elements parents need to get their kids excited about having a healthy lifestyle,” said Michael DeZaio, President of Center Stage Productions.
Inspiration for the theme of this play area came naturally as Vintage Faire Mall, located in Modesto, California lies within one of the greatest agricultural areas of the United States, the San Joaquin Valley. During harvest seasons, area residents can easily find farmers markets and roadside produce stands. Fruits, wine grapes and cattle are among some of this region’s top commodities. In fact, Modesto, CA is home to the largest winery in the world, the E & J Gallo Winery. In addition, Modesto’s location is just a day-trip away from the renowned Yosemite National Park and is also near the Tuolumne River where many kayaking adventures take place.
Inspiration for the soft play area came not only from all the inherent attributes of Northern California, but also from a place close to the heart of Vintage Faire Mall’s Senior Manager, Marketing. “Vintage Faire Mall is where I shopped as a child in the 1970’s and during my visits to the mall, I loved seeing this charming little wooden cow, which was part of the mall’s decor. Thirty years later, I thought it would be fun to find a way to keep this iconic cow’s spirit going. We decided to revive this very same little 1970’s cow and use it today to hold the entryway rules sign which welcomes everyone to our brand new soft play area,” explained Janice Curtin, Senior Manager, Marketing for Vintage Faire Mall. “We hope that some of our long-term area residents who visit our play area with their children will remember our celebrated cow too,” added Curtin.
The “healthy living” play area is sponsored by Sutter Health Central Valley Region and was officially unveiled in Vintage Faire Mall’s Café Row earlier this month during a grand ribbon cutting ceremony. “We have had an overwhelming response to our new play area and are thrilled to see so many smiling faces enjoying our new family friendly amenity,” said Janice Curtin.
Vintage Faire Mall’s soft play area is free to the public and open during all mall hours. For a listing of Vintage Faire Mall’s extended holiday hours, please visit http://www.shopvintagefairemall.com.
