In my opinion, Java has an incredibly successful track record of backwards compatibility and addressing security vulnerabilities before the scheduled release date without affecting backwards compatibility. This is a sign of effective software development processes”.
Regarding the stewardship of Java in general, the company founder continued: “In my opinion, the Java platform and ecosystem has significantly improved Since Oracle’s acquisition of Sun Microsystems. We have seen new features such as JavaFX being released as a Java API, the JavaFX scene builder and a prompt response to security vulnerabilities. Oracle is our best technology partner”.
