Special needs school, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, was interviewed this week about its upcoming winter fundraising event, a private dinner at Hal’s, award-winning steakhouse located at 30 Old Ivy Road in Buckhead, Georgia. This event will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 6:30pm and will include a four-course dinner. All proceeds will help fund technology and curriculum needs at the non-profit, private school of Atlanta. In addition to a private dinner, Cumberland Academy of Georgia is hosting a Mardi Gras Gala on Saturday, February 9, 2013. This Mardi Gras inspired event will include dinner, drinks, dancing, and casino gaming along with a live and silent auction. Special guest Jennifer Andersen, “The Southern Psychic”, will dazzle guests by providing readings for donations! This event will take place in the N’Orleans-style French Quarter of Cumberland Academy at 650 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, at 7 pm. Tickets will be $150 per person and Carnival Casual attire and masks are encouraged!
