Kingwood, TX (PRWEB) April 02, 2013

Neighbors Emergency Center is proud to be a sponsor of Radio Disney LIVE for the Houston Children’s Festival from April 6-7. NEC is happy to support Houston’s youth with expert pediatric emergency care and is excited to sponsor the largest festival specifically for children in the United States, where high-quality and educational entertainment is provided for the whole family.

NEC is a friendly neighbor that many Houston- area communities can count on for emergency care and community support. With four locations in Kingwood, Richmond, Bellaire, and Baytown, NEC serves the entire Houston community and its surrounding areas. Their kid-friendly doctors and staff, and pediatric treatment rooms make NEC the best place for emergency pediatric care.

The Houston Children’s Festival is celebrating its 25th year in 2013, and this year will be just as exciting and fun-filled as the previous years. The Festival helps to raise funds for Child Advocates, a foundation that assists in ensuring the proper care for foster children and their placement in a permanent home. The Festival features live entertainment and family-activity zones.

There are 10 Family Adventure Areas in the festival. Family favorites include the McDonalds Family Fitness Zone, the Baker Hughes Circustown, Green Mountain Energy Zone, and the Apache Super Science World. Each zone will give families the opportunity to engage in educational and fun activities.

This year, Radio Disney LIVE will be a part of the festivities. Radio Disney LIVE is a radio network that broadcasts music and content for children and young teens. Laura Marano of the Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally will be performing and there will be Radio Disney Dance Crew performances and presentations by the Radio Disney Road Crew.

Tickets for the Houston Children’s Festival are $8 per person and can be purchased online through the website, http://www.houstonchildrensfestival.com, or for $10 per person at the festival gates. The Festival will take place in the heart of downtown Houston in the areas surrounding City Hall, the Houston Public Library Plaza, and Tranquility Park.
