J.J. Kane today announced a used heavy equipment auction to be held in Worcester, MA, Sat., April 27, 2013. More than 400 pieces of used construction equipment, utility equipment, trucks, light-duty vehicles and trailers surplus to the present needs of companies such as National Grid USA, NSTAR Electric & Gas, Asplundh Tree Expert Co., Area Electrical Contracting, and Forestry Companies will be auctioned at 9 a.m. Saturday. Items will also include late model rental returns and more. This used construction equipment auction will be available live, online through the Internet and includes items sold off-site, from remote locations across the country. J.J. Kane is well known for used bucket truck auctions and used heavy equipment auctions; however also feature many light-duty trucks, used cars and used SUVs.
J.J. Kane auctions are absolute, meaning that everything sells to the highest bidder, regardless of price. There are no minimums or reserves at an absolute auction, and owners are not allowed to bid on equipment they have consigned to the auction. Selling price is determined by the bidders participating in the auction, and no one else. The auction offers direct access to the equipment contractors need, and differs from other auctions in that you don’t have to be a dealer to buy. Anyone can register and connect directly with the sellers through J.J. Kane, which allows both parties the ability to exchange equipment at a fair price.
"We provide the services that are important to buyers and sellers in the way that is most convenient for them. Sellers benefit from a convenient and cost-effective way to sell equipment for competitive market value. Buyers can kick the tires and inspect items personally, or if they prefer, they can make purchases online without the time and expense incurred with travelling to an auction,” says Joe Kane, founder of J.J. Kane Auctioneers.
