Vatterott College in Kansas City is moving to a new location at 4131 North Corrington Ave. The new campus is eight miles from the current location, 8955 E. 38 Terrace. The new school is 65,000 sq. ft., making it approximately 2,000 sq. ft. larger than the current facility. This campus is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The campus boasts a new, modern facility for its students and provides up-to-date and larger hands-on learning labs for the programs offered. Students can utilize new industry current computers for educational use in one of the six new computer labs throughout the building. Industry-current labs are available for welding students and dental labs are coming soon. Students can enjoy the new lounge area complete with a fireplace during their time outside of the classroom.
“This is an exciting time for this campus,” said Brian Schumann, Campus Director for Vatterott College in Kansas City. “The increase of square footage allows us to offer our students a larger selection of programs in fields that are currently experiencing demand for qualified applicants and that are beneficial to the Kansas City area.”
The new location will continue to provide course offerings such as Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technology, Computer Technology, Combination Welding Technology, Wind Energy Technician and Medical Assistant training in Kansas City.
The college is preparing to add Automotive Technology Design, Diesel Mechanic AOS, Cosmetology and Personal Trainer Fitness Trainer programs to its course offerings in the near future.
