WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (NYSE: WCG), a leading provider of managed care services for government-sponsored health care programs, and The Results Companies, a provider of outsourced customer experience management services, today announced the expansion of call center operations at the Streator Contact Center. The expansion will bring approximately 125 new jobs to Streator, Ill.
Serving WellCare’s health and drug plan members with state and local neighbors is an important element of the company’s service delivery. Streator Contact Center representatives continue to be recruited to staff the expanded facility and will be responsible for responding to WellCare member and provider calls. The facility is now capable of supporting more than 400 employees, with approximately 300 people dedicated to WellCare.

The expansion was made possible through the acquisition of adjoining space at the existing facility located at 232 Pratt Street. The additional space underwent a build out in preparation for training classes, which started April 1. The first customer calls in the expanded facility began on May 1.
