Wilson Wineries Hosts 12th Annual Fundraiser for Children's Scholarship

Benefit for Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund

The fundraiser will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Soda Rock Winery, 8015 Hwy. 128, Healdsburg on Saturday, May 11.

Wilson Artisan Wineries is pleased to announce that they will host the 12th annual fundraiser to benefit the Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund on Saturday, May 11.

This exciting event enables Wilson Artisan Wineries to help ensure that children in the vineyard workers' community have access to college, and has the support they need to succeed in their studies. Individual scholarships are open to students attending a community college, four year college, and trade or technical school. The only requirements are that the student be at least a high school senior, a resident of Sonoma County and the child of a vineyard worker.

This fun-filled event will feature culinary delights from around the world, award-winning wines, music, dancing, amazing raffle prizes, live auction, and silent auction. Items will include world-wide travel packages. The fundraiser will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Soda Rock Winery, 8015 Hwy. 128, Healdsburg.

Guests can purchase tickets for $90 each, which include appetizers, dinner and wine. All proceeds benefit the scholarship fund. In 2002, Ken and Diane Wilson established the Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund (Federal ID# 75-3187688) in cooperation with Sonoma County Farm Bureau Foundation. This project has helped students further their education by distributing more than $100,000 in scholarships.
