Workforce Insight announced today that it has acquired the workforce management analytics practice of Key2 Consulting, an Atlanta-based data warehousing consulting firm. As part of the acquisition, Key2’s workforce management analytics practice, clients and resources will be incorporated into Workforce Insight’s workforce management consulting practice. “Both organizations have long shared a mutual respect and see tremendous benefit from our divestiture,” said Brian Thomas, President of Key2. “Workforce Insight will add new analytics depth and seasoned leaders to an already stellar team, allowing Key2 to focus on growing demand for our data warehousing, business intelligence and portal development services.” Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

A principal addition to Workforce Insight resulting from the acquisition includes Russ McTyre, newly-appointed Director of Analytics Solutions. “We are thrilled to augment our industry-leading workforce management service portfolio with Key2’s analytics capabilities and the recognized leadership of Russ McTyre,” said Steve Goldman, Workforce Insight CEO. “These additions will strengthen our ability to help clients in any industry convert data into actionable insight to improve the way businesses and people perform.”

“Never before has the volume and depth of retail customer and labor data been so widely accessible,” said Scott Knaul, Vice President of Retail at Workforce Insight. “By helping retailers leverage today’s powerful analytical tools to drill down on the most impactful data, our clients can better optimize their workforce and deliver a consistent customer experience in every store.”
