Global XBRL software provider DataTracks recently completed another Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in India. The initiative helped to organize the fund raising program for Swami Vivekananda Rural Development Society Single Teacher Schools.
The rural development society project was started back in 2006. Many such schools have been established in over 650 villages in the Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Vellore districts. These schools provide after-school educational support to economically backward students. Currently more than 20,000 students have been availing this privilege and reaping the benefits
The fund raising event held at Vani Mahal last week comprised of a briefing about the Single Teacher Schools, the fund raising endeavors and the donations from various corporate organizations, followed by a musical concert by popular singer M.J.Shriram and his team.
“DataTracks CSR initiatives emphasizes in creating a positive impact on the society through its efforts in improving education for the under privileged communities so that the future generations have abundant opportunities for professional and personal growth.” commented Sneha Rajagopal, Sr. VP Business Development, DataTracks.
DataTracks provides XBRL solutions using its in-house software. The XBRL software has been designed by DataTracks’ professionals with accounting as well as XBRL technology expertise; hence it is well-equipped to meet the regulatory compliance requirements laid down by the MCA.
