Where pubs have found it impossible to provide accommodation within the premises the extra room outside for some pubs has been perfect for travellers searching to stay in a pub by tent or motorhome.

The Pub Rooms facelift is almost complete and is now planning to start adding pubs with campsite facilities to the Internet Guide. Established in 2002 the British Pub Guide is expanding with pubs joining that provide related facilies.
Since 2002 Pub Rooms has been helping internet users search and find pub accommodation including function room hire. This recent announcement is not a change in direction it is an additional feature in assocation with a new UK Touring Guide. As the Pub Rooms guide has grown and more features added it is now time to feature pubs with camping facilities but in partnership with a dedicated Touring guide.
"Where pubs have found it impossible to provide accommodation within the premises the extra room outside for some pubs has been perfect for travellers searching to stay in a pub by tent or motorhome," states marketing director Peter Jones, he goes on to say following a recent visit to Cornwall's Newquay. "There is a strong desire to explore the UK and stay in a pub or stay near a pub with a campsite. The challenge is to help internet users find pubs with the right facilities and to find them fast. Especially now, when mobile and tablet usage is on the upward trend. We are catering for people literally on the move, we shall aim to have everything in place by early 2015."
Pubs with campaign facilities should contact the Pub Rooms team on 01827 714753. Pubs will not be featured on Pub Rooms but on the newly created UK Touring Guide website T-OR.
