PubCon, the premier new media and optimization conference and expo, has announced that Tallwave president Daniel Boberg and longtime search engine guru Tim Mayer, chief strategy officer at Trada and former head of search product and business at Yahoo, will join together to present a keynote address during PubCon South at Austin 2011, the premier new media and optimization conference and expo.
The Mayer and Boberg keynote entitled “Search Industry Overview From The Former Insiders,” will take place on March 8 - 9, 2011 at the Norris Executive Conference Center in Austin, Texas, with a full day of PubCon Masters Group search and social media training on March 7.
A seasoned online advertising executive, Boberg has helped oversee continued success at digital consultancy Tallwave. Prior to Tallwave, search marketing pioneer Boberg joined Yahoo in 1999, where he headed the company's sales technology efforts, overseeing the development and servicing of Yahoo's partnerships with advertising technology providers and agencies.
Named one of B2B magazine's "100 Most Influential People" for 2004, Boberg played an important role in the growth of Yahoo and in improving the company's search sales technology.
With more than 15 years of pivotal involvement in the evolution of search engines, Mayer will offer his unique insights on the future of new media and optimization to PubCon attendees.
