Four leading experts in the fields of publishing, information marketing, media/P.R. and copyrighting will come together Monday, May 24th in New York City to present their strategies for success in the once mighty but now struggling book industry.
The one day Publishing Seminar workshop will take place on the eve of the publishing industry’s leading trade show, Book Expo America. Industry executives Fred Gleeck, Burke Allen, Ron Pramschfuer and Bob Bly will share their combined expertise with attendees during an exclusive one day boot camp being held at the NYC Seminar and Conference Center, 71 West 23rd Street in New York City.
Ron Pramshufer, whose Manhattan-based self publishing firm is an industry leader, has worked with dozens of authors and added “Anyone who wants to massively increase their revenues as an author or publisher should attend this event. "Contrary to public perception, most authors can't seem to earn a decent living with their book sales. The vast majority, and by that I mean 99%, of authors make less than $50,000 a year. This is the seminar to show them how to be in the other one percent”, said information marketing specialist and author Fred Gleeck, who will share how he has leveraged his own books and other projects into highly successful ancillary information marketing products.
Bob Bly, the author of more than 75 books including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Direct Marketing (Alpha Books) and The Copywriter's Handbook (Henry Holt & Co.) will instruct attendees on how to sell their book to a major NYC publisher for a five-figure advance, even in this difficult economy. Bly’s articles have appeared in numerous publications such as DM News, Writer's Digest, Amtrak Express, Cosmopolitan, Inside Direct Mail, and Bits & Pieces for Salespeople.
