Seaside Reservations will be presenting a 13-part series on KPHO Channel 5 TV, CBS Network’s Phoenix affiliate, to promote tourism in Mexico. “Media coverage of Mexico has been far too negative,” says Steve Schwab, president of Seaside Reservations and Realty Executives Mexico. “The areas frequented by tourists are safe. Unfortunately, you'd never know that based on media reports. It's time someone let travelers know the facts.”

Seaside is headquartered in the resort town of Puerto Peñasco , Sonora, located on the Sea of Cortez. Rocky Point Mexico as many Americans refer to it, is three-and-a-half hours by car southwest of Phoenix. Seaside offers condominium and beach home rentals in Puerto Peñasco and several other resort areas in Mexico.

Each three-to-six-minute segment will focus on leisure activities available in Puerto Peñasco, including water sports, golf, deep-sea fishing, dining and shopping. Some segments will look at real estate opportunities for Americans and the types of accommodations available through Seaside. Other planned segments will include interviews with local business owners and public officials. The cost of vacationing in Puerto Peñasco will be compared to going to typical destinations in the US and Europe.

“Rocky Point is a safe, inexpensive and family-friendly destination,” said Schwab. “For vacationers looking for a great experience in a beautiful beachfront setting, Rocky Point is the perfect vacation spot.”

The Series will be airing starting April 12, 2010 and will continue to run for 26 weeks with a new segment every 2 weeks.
