Paul Valder, CEO of Paul Valder Consulting Inc (PVC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sandra Cistrone, as VP, Quality & Business Improvement. Sandra joins PVC after many years of experience working with a major global food manufacturer overseeing the food safety and quality management systems, at their numerous facilities.

Sandra has also represented the Office of Compliance and Ethics Product Quality Group in equipping, advising and motivating employees and management at all levels, third-party locations and critical-link suppliers conducting activities unifying standards of integrity and compliance in the field of Product Quality /Food and Feed Safety, while also maximizing operational efficiency and profitability, with a focus on cost reduction.

As a member of the PVC senior management team Sandra will be working in a leadership position helping PVC's existing and new clients to develop strategic objectives, which will drive continuous improvement and business initiatives, food safety, regulatory compliance and quality. Sandra will be responsible for all aspects, when it comes to client gap audit/assessments, training, coaching and implementation of Quality Management Systems, food safety and HACCP / GMP programs, process improvement and vendor management solutions.

Sandra holds an Honours Degree and Major in Food Science – BSc., from the University of Guelph and is a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) of the American Society for Quality, a Certified HACCP Trainer and an ISO9000 Lead Auditor. Recently, Sandra has completed trainings in various GFSI standards and has successfully supported food industry manufacturers to reach certification, in such standards as the British Retail Consortium (BRC), Global Standard For Food Safety.
