The new system also boasts a more streamlined look and feel without compromising on the number of quality-checked practice questions and mock tests of the previous system, which was used by thousands of lawyers to successfully prepare for and pass the first part of the QLTS.
Commenting on the launch of the new service, Nir Chanoch, Managing Director of QLTS School, said: “We are very pleased with the new improvement to our MCT course, which significantly enhances the learning experience of our candidates. This is part of our ongoing efforts to take advantage of the latest technology to improve our preparation courses and customer service we offer to international lawyers attempting the QLTS assessments.
"Ultimately, this new proprietary MCQ tool will enable candidates to utilise their preparation time more efficiently, better focus their preparation efforts and achieve stronger results, faster.”
The MCT mock tests are available in two formats:
- Immediate feedback – the correct answer with a full explanation is given immediately after attempting a question
- Feedback on completion – no feedback is provided during the test. Feedback with the correct answers vs. the answers selected will be provided on completion of the test
In both formats, there is a time limit of two hours and 45 minutes to complete the test (i.e., 1 minute and 50 seconds on average per question), simulating exam conditions and enabling candidates to develop and hone their exam technique, a crucial factor in passing the assessments.
On completing a mock test, candidates can review their answers and receive detailed feedback on their performance in each of the subject areas which form part of the MCT assessment.
