Quantum-Wireless.com’s partner Cerevo is releasing two important upgrades for the Cerevo LiveShell, a live uploading and streaming tool for HD video sources on YouTube, UStream & LiveStream. Cerevo’s upgrades were designed to improve the user experience and enhance the LiveShell’s technical capabilities. This press release presents the LiveShell’s new firmware Rev. 3233 and the upgrade made to the Cerevo ‘Dashboard’, the web based device management remote control app.
I. Easy User Registration: Users can directly register to other streaming services in addition to Ustream such as YouTube, LiveStream, Nico Nico and etc. In the past, users were first required to get Ustream User ID, which is not a requirement anymore for other streaming service registrations.
II. Wi-Fi Wide Range: In addition to the standard Wi-Fi dongle accessory, provided in the package, the LiveShell now supports other long range Wi-Fi dongles. This allows users to enjoy an increased Wi-Fi range & a wider area of stable video streaming upload.
III. Audio Peak Meter: the new Audio Peak Meter allows users to get real time information on the audio input status and quality from the LiveShell unit. Refer to the LiveShell online manual for more details.
