We've worked extremely hard and will continue to do so
Oklahoma City, OK (Vocus) July 2, 2010
QuiBids.com, an online penny auction website that launched in late 2009, is quickly approaching its 250,000th auction. The auction is set to take place on Wednesday, July 7th at noon CST.
After growing at a significant rate, this 250,000th auction marks yet another monumental event for QuiBids. “We’ve worked extremely hard and will continue to do so,” said Josh Duty, QuiBids’ COO. “What has taken many online auctions in our similar format to reach after a couple of years, has taken us only eight months. We believe in what we do and know it is paying off for us and for our customers.”
In celebration of our 250,000th auction, QuiBids will auction off a trip for two to Hawaii, airfare and hotel included. “We simply want to tell our customers ‘thank you’ and that they mean a lot to QuiBids success, said Jill Farrand, QuiBids’ Director of Public Relations. “Without our customers, we wouldn’t be in the position we are in now. Since this is a big event for us as a company, we wanted to be able to offer a large auction item, something we haven’t done to date.”
QuiBids implements the Buy It Now feature on every auction it conducts. This auction is going to be no different. “We know we may take a loss on this auction, but feel it’s only fair to give our customers the option of the Buy It Now, said Duty. It’s a big ticket item and one we want to offer in celebration of our 250,000th auction.”
