Change for the sake of change can lead to anarchy, but the right kind of change can streamline an already great thing. KVMSwitchTech has revamped their line of Rackmount LCD Monitor and Rackmount Monitor Keyboard products to bring a more uniform fit and functionality with a better overall appearance. Though little has changed with regard to part numbers, some major improvements have been made inside the chassis. The standard depth on the 1U Rack LCD Keyboard units has been brought down to 18.9 inches. This means that the default configuration is now compatible with 19” server racks. The new line also includes Rackmount Monitor Keyboards with 1080p and 1920x1200 HD video outputs.

These High Definition Rackmount LCD Monitor devices are ready for nearly every environment with their integrated HDMI, DVI-D, and VGA inputs. The units with integrated keyboard option are offered with a touchpad or trackball option, and with or without an integrated DVI KVM Switch. These new features and functionality makes them ideal for military, government, data monitoring, digital signage, CCTV, broadcast and multimedia applications. These LCDs come with CE, FCC, UL, VCCI, TAA, and RoHS agency approvals. Finally, the new molded plastic handle has been relocated to improve the overall look and fit in short depth rack environments.
