Morrisville, NC (Vocus) November 16, 2010
Alliance Hospitality Management announced the completion of a 3.6 million dollar property-wide renovation to the Hilton Garden Inn RDU. Built in 1998, the Morristown hotel has 155 sleeping rooms, over 2000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor heated pool, gym, restaurant and all of the amenities that today’s business traveler has come to expect and demand out of a typical hotel stay.
What’s Under the Roof? It’s a fresh take on a traditional style. With the evolving needs of guests trending to technology, seeking impromptu meetings while still enjoying a cup of coffee and a full American Breakfast, the lobby’s re-design had all these concepts in mind. While the Raleigh Durham airport hotel has always served breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, now it is served the entire length of the lobby! The new concept redefines and expands the frontier of where all the food can travel to in the lobby & hotel. Added media pods each equipped with 26 inch LCD TVs allow connecting a laptop while seating between four and six people ordering food and beverage from the comfort of their pod.
The 155 sleeping rooms at the Morristown hotel are equipped with the Garden Sleep System bed and Herman Miller Ergonomic seating. New carpeting, modern contemporary photography, lounge seating and a completely new bathroom with beautiful granite counter tops and matching dark wood hardware complete the renovation.
On touring the completed hotel, Alliance Chairman Rolf Tweeten commented, “The new design concepts that the owners, Inland America, have invested in are very impressive and will allow the hotel to continue to run significant revenue premium to its competitors. These new F&B concepts reflect the mobile trend hotel guests are looking for in integrating their hand-held technologies to their surrounding environment.”
