I want readers to think and also to enjoy the time they spend reading this novel

OSSIPEE, N.H. – In June of 2009, Ralph Gregorio came across an odd news article. The Italian government had prevented two men from crossing the Italian border into Switzerland with $135 billion in U.S. bonds. Though the two men had been caught, they were soon released. This struck Gregorio as inspiration, and the result was his new book, “A Murder in Zurich” (published by AuthorHouse).
Though most of the novel is fiction, the catalyst of the action comes from the article Gregorio read. “It sounded strange, and I just had to write something about it,” explains Gregorio.
The book follows two detectives as they try to catch an assassin and solve the U.S. bond mystery. Vinnie DeAngelis is trying to solve the murder of a Roman Catholic priest in Zurich. He teams up with an Italian policeman, Carlo Palmeri, who’s been working on the U.S. bond case. The assassin, Garcia, is not the coldblooded killer DeAngelis and Palmeri think he is. Garcia has a conscious and a heart, but continues to kill for a living.
Gregorio believes readers will be captured by the crime, politics and political intrigue. “I want readers to think and also to enjoy the time they spend reading this novel.”
