In a report issued earlier this month by Opinion Research Corporation, learning that items are back-ordered or out of stock after deciding to purchase them was a frustration shared by nearly 20 percent of online shoppers. Since Range's Inventory Quality Manager launched in beta three months ago, retailers utilizing the system have found cost-savings and efficiency improvements ranging from higher overall cart value to increased conversion rates. The Manager is currently being utilized by Range account teams for NIKE, Neiman Marcus, Cole Haan and a range of other major online and luxury retailers.
