EduKick has taken me to where I am today and made me the player I am. I would recommend it to any player out there who knows they have the potential of making it as a footballer.

EduKick England's Miguel Hamutenya signs one year deal with the Scottish giants...Glasgow Rangers after the 19-year-old from Namibia impressed on trial. Hamutenya arrived in Scotland after long term development at the EduKick England International Football Academy.
Hamutenya, a speedy Namibian Under 21 International full-back, turned down MLS club New York Red Bulls to sign for Israeli side Bnei Sakhnin in September. But when the opportunity came to trail with the Rangers, Hamutenya seized the opportunity.
Glasgow Rangers are the most successful club in Scottish history, having won the league title on 54 occasions. And according to his agent, Jonathon Hope, Miguel really impressed the Rangers coaching staff while on trial:
“Miguel Hamutenya has been successful at trials with Glasgow Rangers and has subsequently been offered a pro contract. Glasgow Rangers have committed to this and we are now organising the required work permit to ensure the player can start immediately. Miguel has been outstanding in his trial period and has delivered a high standard of all the important criteria to be successful,” Hope said.
Hamutenya credits two years of intense, daily soccer development at the EduKick England International Football Academy for his ability to take advantage of this professional soccer opportunity.
“Training with EduKick England guided and helped me in many ways to make it as a professional, not only physically, but taught me the things behind the scenes in making it as a professional. Something I learned was that small things make a difference. Being set up with a premier league football team shows you what is needed to be done. Having Top Coaches with top facilities plays a huge part. It makes you hungry to succeed. Being in a program like EduKick makes you see how much work you have to put in in order to succeed,” said Hamutenya.
Now Hamutenya is looking forward to continuing to impress the coaching staff at the Glasgow Rangers: “I’m looking forward to progressing even more and fighting for a place in the first team. It is an absolute honor to be playing in such a prestigious football club with such history. In my eyes, it is one of the best teams out there competing with the biggest clubs,” said Hamutenya enthusiastically.
When asked if he had any advice for younger players trying to go pro? Hamutenya replied; “Work hard! Believe in yourself and never give up. If you want it that bad enough you will get there regardless. Listening to your coaches is vital, listen to every word. Make sure you focus and give it your all, always. If you fail, stay positive and keep going.”
Hamutenya is currently training with the Ranger's reserves while waiting for his paperwork to be processed. To read more about Hamutenya, see the EduKick International Football Academies blog page here.
