"People with an interest in coin collecting will enjoy this event because of the variety, quality and reliability of the dealers that will be there," said Bob Brown, Ontario Convention Center General Manager and CEO. "The show will shine with gold, silver bars, diamonds, watches and a plethora of other collectible and valuable pieces; this is going to be a fun and eye-opening event and I look forward to it returning to the convention center again and again."

Set to return December 17-19, the show is also scheduled to be at the Ontario Convention Center in June 2010. After passing through the city on the way from Las Vegas, CK executives decided to take look at Ontario as another spot for the show.

"We've been studying the area for two years, this is where everyone comes. In Ontario, there's a future; it's a place where a lot of people meet and do business in the Inland region because of its hub of hotels and the airport," said Dawn Edwards, CK Shows Promotions Executive. "There hasn't been a coin and jewelry show of this magnitude in the Inland Empire for 25 years…I think this is going to be really cool."

Produced by Las Vegas-based CK Shows (http://www.ckshows.com/), the event will feature 200 dealers that sell, buy and trade U.S. and World coins, currency, jewelry, tokens, medals, bullion, ancient coins and more. Collectors can also have their items appraised for free. The American Numismatic Association will also offer classes by Certified Merit Badge Instructors who will teach Boy Scout merit badge workshops for free. Admission to the three-day event is free and open to the public. Kids admitted with an adult will receive free coins.

"Jewel-draped displays and coin-filled exhibits will transform the Ontario Convention Center into a shining oasis for visitors and collectors," Brown said. "We are honored and excited to have the show here for the first time and believe this will be the start of a beautiful chain of events."
