RateMyPeople.com has officially launched to unite members of the advertising community by providing a social networking platform where work performance is rated. Users can fill out a custom profile and then review/rate people from all different areas of advertising – whether that is a media employee/company, an agency representative or a media planner/buyer.

In just a few clicks members can join RateMyPeople.com for free by answering a few questions and uploading a photo. Before doing that members are encouraged to search for their name or company to see if they have already been rated. If the account exists it can be claimed instantly. Once an account is created members can invite their entire contact list to rate them including clients, partners, and vendors within the advertising community. Then, users can brag about their rating by posting the official badge on their own websites, emails, blog and marketing collateral.

As the singular destination of this community, users can attain a deeper understanding of the people they encounter on a day-to-day basis. It’s not just about building a connection list; it’s delving deeper into the cogs that comprise the wheel of the advertising world. Industry people created this free service to have a social networking place where accountability could exist in a mature fashion. The site itself is managed by the advertising community and aims to garner penetration within the advertising realm with the contributions received from its members.

About RateMyPeople.com
RateMyPeople.com is an online destination to connect members of the advertising community that launched in November 2012. People rate customer service experiences online for businesses and the concept here is similar, except the information is about grilling people, not steaks. In return members gain better insight into the people and companies they encounter everyday.
