Razorfish Hires Phil Battat as VP, Business Development

Phil brings over 20 years of experience in branding and marketing and has a proven track record in helping clients and agency teams define their strategies and meet their objectives.

Razorfish, one of the world’s largest digital agencies, named Phil Battat, as VP, Business Development of its west region, which includes offices in Seattle, San Francisco and Portland.

In this role, Battat will oversee business development across the region to meet the increasing demand for agency-of-record relationships. Phil will be working with clients and agency partners to leverage Razorfish resources and talent to enhance their marketing efforts across digital channels and platforms.

Prior to Razorfish, Battat was Executive Director at Landor Associates where he led client services in San Francisco. He worked with clients including MillerCoors, Waste Management, Microsoft, William Blair and the San Diego Zoo. Phil was also with USWeb/CKS as VP, GM of CKS Pictures and led its growth in sponsored television, corporate communications and interactive TV with clients including Ziff-Davis and Apple.

Battat graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s in Agricultural Economics and received his MBA from the University of Arizona.
