RCN Business, a communications provider delivering network solutions for voice, data and video, announces today that it has launched an agent program designed to provide select national and regional telecom agents and systems integrators with the resources and support to sell RCN’s portfolio of IP-based data and voice communications services to enterprise and small- and medium-sized businesses (SMB’s). This program is available to agents in all RCN markets, including Boston, Chicago, Lehigh Valley (PA), New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

RCN Business offers its partners an array of benefits, including competitive compensation, flexible business solutions, and sales enablement tools to help agents qualify and close deals. Other highlights include 24/7 U.S. based customer support with trained staff ready to assist agents with questions, training and support. RCN has partnered with master agents such as BCM One Inc., Glacier Communications Inc., NEF Inc. and TeleDomani Inc.

The RCN network is built over a wholly-owned fiber-rich backbone, with 24/7 network monitoring and notification procedures in place to identify any potential issues. RCN boasts a robust fiber network with direct and geographically diverse Internet connectivity to more than 125 networks globally and fiber access to all major data centers in its footprint. The company is equipped with complete disaster recovery backup capability, including a network-wide backup power system.
