ReAgent believes that the newly created instructions are the best available on the market and will provide customers with an exceptionally clear and concise guide and important safety information.

The instructions can be downloaded free from either the ReAgent website or the Gold Testing Kits website. Improvements to the guide include:-

> Colour photos which clearly and simply illustrate the reactions to each of the chemical substances
> Easy-to-follow descriptions about the reactions to each of the testing chemicals
> Safety advice and information about safe handling of the testing chemicals
> Illustrations and tips on the best ways of applying the testing chemicals
> Updates to the Verigold branding

Rob Walker from ReAgent’s IT and Website team explains, “The starting point for us was to look at enquiries and feedback from our customers. We wanted to make the instructions really easy to understand so we went into the lab and did all the experiments ourselves, taking photos at each stage of the process. We tried to include answers to frequently asked questions and believe we have produced user-friendly guidelines which are very clear and concise.”

ReAgent offers a range of Gold Testing Kits including the Professional, the Premium and the Standard in addition to individual testing solutions for 18-24 ct, 14-15 ct and 9 ct Gold. Safety equipment can be purchased separately to help protect users when testing. In addition to supplying kits for gold testing, the company manufactures kits to test for Platinum, Palladium, Sterling Silver, Brass, Base Metals and Cupro-Nickel alloys.

The company has seen a huge growth in sales of the kits which it believes is as a result of the current economic climate with increasing numbers of people considering selling or pawning their gold objects. The kits are supplied to a wide range of customers from individuals, major jewellery chains and leading pawnbrokers throughout the UK.

ReAgent Managing Director Richard Hudson adds, “We know that there are lots of people out there selling Gold Test Kits but ours really are the best on the market. We manufacture everything in-house to stringent Quality Assured Standards so that customers can be confident when they buy Gold Testing Kits from us.”
