The Real Estate Rollercoaster Ride

(PRWEB) December 17, 2007 -- Hocking Stuart shouted over a thousand of its clients and their families to an evening of family fun at Luna Park, Melbourne's iconic amusement centre. The real estate company booked the entire venue for the occasion.

As Jackie Hall, Operations & Marketing Manager for Hocking Stuart explained: "Real estate is about people. The Luna Park night was a chance for us, as a company to say 'thank you' to all the people who entrusted us with their real estate this year."

Real estate is about people. The Luna Park night was a chance for us, as a company to say 'thank you' to all the people who entrusted us with their real estate this year.
When the gates opened at 6:00pm a sea of colourfully dressed children cascaded through the giant mouth like it was swallowing a packet of Smarties. They dispersed to all corners of the venue only to regroup in orderly queues outside the numerous rides that were open and, best of all for the parents, free.

The Ghost Train was a firm favourite gauging by the solid queues all night, as were the Dodgem Cars, which always seem to attract as many oldies as kiddies. The little kids loved the flying elephants, balloon tricks and face painting, although enjoyment of those particular delights wasn't restricted to only the juniors. Jim Stynes, former AFL legend and founder of the charitable foundation Reach was spotted in the queue for the cute Arabian Merry-go-round ride.

The magnificently decorated Carousel was full all night and the Ferris Wheel did a great job of exposing the vertigo sufferers. The more dynamic rides such as the Spider and the Metropolis, were left mainly for the teenagers or at least those with teenage constitutions.

Hocking Stuart even provided free hot dogs, chips, pies, ice creams and soft drinks to help the revelers refuel before mounting another assault on the attractions.

It was a fantastic night, successful in every way. The many people present whose previous opinion of Hocking Stuart was founded purely on the company's ability to sell, lease or otherwise manage real estate, left with a whole new appreciation of what Hocking Stuart stands for.

Jackie was naturally delighted. "The feedback we've had already, from clients grateful for the opportunity to spend an evening with their families has been extraordinary. I dare say we'll be doing it again next year!"
