Realty Alliance Incorporated (RAI) opened its doors in January of this year with a very simple business model, donate the majority of the business' revenue to charity. RAI is a national real estate referral company that donates a minimum of 65% of the companies referral fee to a home buyer's or seller's designated charity.
Recently, RAI made its largest single donation ever, $3656.24 to the Northern Virginia Sheltie Rescue Association. The donation was made by Dave and Donna Martin in conjunction with the sale of their home in Loudoun County, Virginia. Caryn Humphrey, of RE/MAX Select Properties, represented the seller on the transaction. Humphry said, “I was excited to participate in this new program. It’s a great way for sellers and buyers to make a significant donation to a charity during their real estate transaction.” She went on to say, “In addition to being part of such a great program, it’s a great way for real estate agents to develop additional marketing networks.”
Since January RAI has given over $22,000 in charitable donations to local and national charities. The company believes that by giving back to charities they are being responsible partners in the community. Jim Stakem, one of the founding partners said, “During this time of economic downturn the charities have taken an enormous hit. These charities provide critical aid in our local communities, and it is important to find ways to continue to support them.”
RAI has programs designed for buyers and sellers, 501 charities, and real estate agents. For more information please visit our website at http://www.raidonations.org or call (703) 547-1514.
