We were one of the forerunners of online education in the US in the mid 1990's and we have never seen such a rush toward online education as we are seeing now.

A few factors seem to be contributing to this movement toward securing a career as a real estate agent. Firstly, since 2006, most states have seen the ranks of realtors decline by at least 50%. With fewer agents pursing the collective commission pool, there may be greater profit potential than ever before. Secondly, no industry offers as fast or as low a cost of entry, with as great a profit potential, as real estate.

Says Geoff Thompson, one of RealEstateExpress' owners, "We were one of the forerunners of online education in the US in the mid 1990's and we have never seen such a rush toward online education as we are seeing now." Thompson adds, "Online real estate course registrations in March of this year reached their highest level in company history. People are sensing the real estate market has bottomed - and we appear to be poised for a turnaround."
