The month of April 2013 showed an increase in the number of new listings for homes in the area. The number of new listings for attached homes increased from 7 new listings in April 2012 to 9 new listings in April 2013

There was a significant increase in the number of closed sales for attached and detached homes, condos, and townhomes in Cary for the month of April 2013. The number of closed sales for attached homes increased by 250%, as the number rose from 2 closed sales in April 2012 to 7 closed sales in April 2013. The number of closed sales for detached homes increased by 35%, as the number rose from 20 closed sales in April 2012 to 27 closed sales in April 2013. There were mixed results for the median sales price for attached and detached homes sold in the area. The median sales price for attached homes decreased by 36.5%, as the price declined from $154,500 in April 2012 to $98,100 in April 2013, whereas the median sales price for detached homes increased by 34.5%, rising from $174,000 in April 2012 to $234,000 in April 2013. There was, however, a sharp decrease in the number of attached and detached homes for sale in Cary.

The number of attached homes for sale fell from 40 homes in April 2012 to 24 homes in April 2013, and the number of detached homes for sale dropped from 185 homes in April 2012 to 122 homes in April 2013. The month of April 2013 showed an increase in the number of new listings for homes in the area. The number of new listings for attached homes increased from 7 new listings in April 2012 to 9 new listings in April 2013, and the number of new listings for detached homes rose from 46 new listings in April 2012 to 64 new listings in April 2013. There was a decrease in the month’s supply of inventory for both attached and detached homes. The months supply of inventory for attached homes dropped from 11.4 homes in April 2012 to 4.2 homes in April 2013, and the month’s supply of inventory for detached homes fell from 10.4 homes in April 2012 to 4.6 homes in April 2013. There were mixed results in the market time for attached and detached homes, townhomes, and condos in Cary. The number of days attached homes remained on the market increased from 97 days in April 2012 to 106 days in April 2013, and the number of days detached homes stayed on the market dropped from 147 days in April 2012 to 123 days in April 2013.
