The John Herman team is pleased to announce the latest real estate performance review results for Inverness for the year ending June 30, 2013. The real estate performance review for homes in Inverness showed an increase of 52% for attached homes and 35% for detached homes for the number of closed sales for this community.

The number of closed sales for attached homes rose from 17 closed sale for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 26 homes for the year ending June 30, 2013. Whereas the number of closed sale for detached homes increased from 77 closed sales for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 104 closed sale for the year ending June 30, 2013. The year did, however, show mixed results for the median sales price for homes sold. While the median sales price for attached homes rose from $285,000 for the year ending June 30, 2012 to $347,500 for the year ending June 30, 2103, the median sales price for detached homes dropped from $555,000 for the year ending June 30, 2012 to $537,050 for the year ending June 30, 2013.

The Illinois real estate performance review also showed a decrease in the number of homes for sale in Inverness for both attached and detached homes. The number of attached homes for sale fell from 17 homes for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 9 homes for the year ending June 30, 2013, and the number of detached homes for sale dropped from 100 homes for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 75 homes for the year ending June 30, 2013. There was mixed result for the number of new listings for the year. The number of new listings for attached homes rose from 34 new listings for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 46 new listing for the year ending June 30, 2013, and the number of new listings for detached homes fell has from 236 new listings for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 214 new listings for the year ending June 30, 2013.

The year showed another decrease in the month’s supply of inventory for [Kildeer home for sale The month’s supply of inventory for attached homes fell from 8.9 homes for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 3.7 homes for the year ending June 30, 2013, and the month’s supply of inventory for detached homes dropped from 18.6 homes for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 9.4 homes for the year ending June 30, 2013. The year showed mixed result for the market times for attached and detached homes. The number of days attached homes stayed on the market dropped from 308 days for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 103 days for the year ending June 30, 2013, while the number of days detached homes remained on the market rose from 226 days for the year ending June 30, 2012 to 257 for the year ending June 30, 2013.
