ExecuNet Uses “Concierge” Service to Connect Members with Corporate Recruiters

New Personal Recruiting Concierge a big hit with recruiters who don’t have the time to wade through thousands of search results and are looking for a faster way to make connections.

“At the end of the day, every corporate recruiter wants the same thing. They don’t want to read through pages and pages of search results. They just want to fill their position.

ExecuNet, a private career network for senior-level executives, recently launched a new service that facilitates personal introductions between their corporate recruiting members and their executive members—who could also be top job candidates for the recruiters’ current searches.

The U. S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports there are 12 million unemployed. The Bureau also reports there are 3.7 million jobs vacant, of which only 2 million are top executive jobs. Overall, that’s a 7:1 ratio of available talent to vacant jobs.

Yet with all these talented people on the street, recruiters still can’t find the workers they need. The right workers, that is.

That’s no surprise when you consider how time-challenged recruiters are to go find talent. There are tons of resumes of unknown people coming at them through job boards and advertisements, too many unqualified people vying for their attention on LinkedIn, and no effective “in” to the executives they really want to get introduced to and connect with.

ExecuNet’s new Personal Recruiting Concierge Service changes all that by building strong relationships with its executive membership, and finds and connects recruiters with its members who might be interested in a new opportunity or can provide a referral.

Since its launch, 25 percent of ExecuNet’s recruiting members are already using the service with solid results, and ExecuNet has just released a short video and brochure to tell its story.

Cutting Through the Clutter to Get Results

According to ExecuNet’s 2013 Executive Job Market Intelligence Report, one in four recruiters surveyed said it’s more difficult to get executives to take their calls than it was just one year ago.

But because executives opt in to ExecuNet’s trusted community, they are more likely to accept a call from a recruiter if ExecuNet recommends the interaction.

“At the end of the day, every corporate recruiter wants the same thing,” says ExecuNet’s Director of Recruiting Services Jason Maczuba. “They don’t want to read through pages and pages of search results. They just want to fill their position.” Filling that position isn’t getting any easier—74 percent of recruiters surveyed by ExecuNet said executive job specs are more demanding than they were a year ago.

Recruiters can rely on their Personal Recruiting Concierge to cut through the clutter and find the top candidates that match their job specs—by searching for talent and producing a short list of qualified candidates. Email “introductions” are then sent on the recruiter’s behalf to connect recruiters with their desired candidates and referral sources.
