Survey will bring insight to recruiters and the HCM community into the evolving role of recruiters in these challenging times. Results will reveal how consumer and enterprise technology adoption is changing and how organizations recruit and source talent. Results will be announced at the ERE 2009 Spring Expo, March 30-April 1 in San Diego.

In 2009, recruiters will be facing challenges that are very different than what they have seen in the past

Knowledge Infusion, a leading provider of strategic advisory and consulting services focused on HR, talent management, and emerging technology solutions; and ERE Media, the largest online community for recruiters, today announced the second annual joint survey: The Future of Recruiting and Sourcing. The 2009 survey addresses the role and responsibilities of recruiters, the outlook of recruiting in 2009, the use of existing and emerging technologies like Twitter, and decision-making responsibilities for talent acquisition and integrated talent management.

The 2009 Future of Recruiting and Sourcing Survey will be launched to the 58,000 members of ERE Media and the Knowledge Infusion community this week. All individuals in a recruiting role are invited to take the five-minute survey and will receive a complimentary copy of the full survey results for participating.

The survey results will be announced in conjunction with the ERE 2009 Spring Expo being held in San Diego, CA, March 30 - April 1, 2009. At the event, Knowledge Infusion will be delivering the pre-conference session: Don't be Left Out! Make Recruiting Part of Talent Management, that will address the challenges and concerns facing recruiters today and provide tangible action items on how recruiting can become the leading component of integrated talent management. The session takes place on Monday, March 30 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and will be delivered by Elaine Orler, Vice President of Talent Acquisition Management at Knowledge Infusion, and Jason Corsello, Vice President of the Knowledge Infusion Center of Excellence.

"In 2009, recruiters will be facing challenges that are very different than what they have seen in the past," said Todd Raphael, Editor-in-Chief of ERE Media. "As the leader in intelligence for the recruiting community, it is important for us to partner with organizations like Knowledge Infusion who can not only provide the survey data, but also give our members timely, relevant, and real-world insight on how recruiters can continue to make an impact on the business and be more successful."

"There was a tremendous response to the 2008 survey and we are very interested to see the impact that recent economic and technology changes will bring to the recruiting function," said Jason Corsello, Vice President of the Knowledge Infusion Center of Excellence. "Recruiters are really at the forefront of new technologies and tend to embrace them sooner than others HR roles. This survey will provide insight into how recruiters are evolving and measuring success. "
