Natural Decorations, Inc. (NDI), manufacturer of the finest permanent floral and botanical reproductions in the world, has hired Red Square Agency to develop a retail Web site. The site will be NDI's foray into direct-to-consumer e-commerce and will feature more than 2,300 products available for purchase.
Headquartered in Brewton, Ala., NDI is a privately-held company currently selling to high-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom and has distribution in all 50 states and abroad, making it the largest in the industry. For more than 45 years, the company has imported the finest quality fabric flowers, and their designers' credentials include designs for everything from the White House to the Oscars.
According to Kelly Billingsley, NDI's vice president of sales and marketing, "The time is right to take our site to the next level. The agency's interactive team is focused on creating a new standard for multi-tiered e-commerce Web sites with NDI.com's redesign and application development. The site will feature an intuitive user-centric design that reproduces the high quality experience users expect from NDI. Both existing NDI wholesale customers and new NDI retail customers will be able to discover flowers in state-of-the-art ways using a finely tuned system of interweaving classifications based on previous orders and account activity, all the while being able to find exactly the product that they seek at any time with a progressive product search engine.
