Being recognized by ASHRAE with the Milton W. Garland Award is a personal honor. It clearly demonstrates C&L’s commitment to the refrigeration industry and to our clients.

C&L Refrigeration, a provider of high-quality maintenance, engineering and construction services to the commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration industry, today announced that the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has awarded Tom Dosch of C&L Refrigeration with the prestigious award.

For more than 30 years C&L has helped clients like Farmer John, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, General Mills and Bimbo Bakeries with air conditioning and industrial refrigeration needs and in meeting EPA, AQMD and OSHA compliance standards.

The Milton W. Garland Commemorative Refrigeration Award for Excellence is presented by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers to honorees in recognition of their efforts in promoting the science of refrigeration.

Specifically, Mr. Tom Dosch, PE and Project Manager at C&L Refrigeration, is being recognized for his design and development of the ICE II project for Innovative Cold Storage Enterprises, Inc. The ICE II project earned a LEED facility Gold Rating for its resulting achievements: creating 4 times the storage at ½ the cost and delivering solar powered refrigeration that reduces CO2 emissions and energy costs by 75%.

Honorees of the Milton W. Garland Commemorative Refrigeration Award for Excellence receive a plaque with a medallion, lapel pin and transportation to the Society's Annual Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in June 2010.

The Milton W. Garland Commemorative Refrigeration Award for Excellence, highly coveted and awarded to only one person and company each year, recognizes the designer and owner of a non-comfort cooling refrigeration application that highlights innovation and/or new technologies.

“Being recognized by ASHRAE with the Milton W. Garland Award is a personal honor,” said Tom Dosch, PE and Project manager at C&L Refrigeration. “It clearly demonstrates C&L’s commitment to the refrigeration industry and to our clients,” he added.
