Creating a reliable product is a top concern of manufacturers, and learning the statistical analysis behind determining a product’s reliability and lifetime characteristics is essential.

To help people learn and apply these statistical concepts, Minitab Pty, the Australian office of the world’s leading provider of software for quality improvement and statistics education, is offering a free online training session to introduce the basics of reliability analysis.

The Introduction to Reliability session will cover Minitab’s powerful reliability tools, including the Distribution ID Plot, Distribution Overview Plot, and Parametric Distribution Analysis. Participants will learn how to use these tools to compare a product prototype with a current version already in the market.

The hour-long webinar will be offered on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. AEDT (GMT +10:00), and is designed to give participants the chance to preview Minitab’s instructor-led training without leaving their offices.
