NEWTON, MA (PRWEB) September 28, 2006 -- Lyra Research, the digital imaging authority (www.lyra.com), in conjunction with Recharger Magazine (www.rechargermag.com), recently published a report titled At Your Service: Identifying Must-Have Services for Office Customers. The report reveals that 99 percent of business users surveyed who buy remanufactured cartridges rated cartridge delivery and management services for empties as either "somewhat" or "very" important(see figure: http://ww1.prweb.com/prfiles/2006/09/27/0000443731/atyourservice.jpg).
"Only 81 percent of the respondents said they currently receive cartridge delivery from their aftermarket cartridge vendor, and only 78 percent said their vendor actually offers empty cartridge pickup. These findings suggest that sizeable opportunities still exist for remanufacturers to offer value-added services to their customers," commented Charles Brewer, managing editor of The Hard Copy Supplies Journal. "The survey found that aftermarket cartridge customers are more loyal to their current cartridge provider when these vendors provide value-added services, giving vendors added opportunities to develop long-term client relationships."
At Your Service: Identifying Must-Have Services for Office Customers identifies services that business users actually value and evaluates whether their needs for these services are currently being met. Lyra partnered with Recharger Magazine to produce this indispensable survey report for the remanufacturing industry. Based on a comprehensive survey of office customers, this report also outlines key differences between OEM and aftermarket cartridge users in the corporate environment. Specifically, the report analyzes a number of market conditions that affect which type of cartridge an organization will ultimately purchase, including cartridge sales channels, print volumes, and company size. The report has 27 pages and 26 figures and is available for immediate download at www.lyra.com.
