Tom Sexton is excited to announce that after the launch of HEAT Automotive over three months ago, the company is on fire. As a single father, Sexton had enough on his plate living, working, and taking care of four daughters, but the launch of HEAT Automotive, a shop specializing in used and remanufactured engines, allowed him to prove to himself and the world that anything is possible.

The launch of HEAT Automotive was born of a dream. Sexton had a great job, four daughters to care for, and in the midst of what some are calling "The Great Recession", quitting that job to pursue a beloved career seemed, as it does to most, like quite a gamble. However, that is exactly what Sexton did.

HEAT Automotive was officially launched on December 1st, 2008. Built on Sexton's dream and the belief that great companies are built with honest, hard-working people, people who have strength and the vision to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. HEAT Automotive began doing business selling high quality used and remanufactured engines. The launch was successful, and over the course of twelve weeks, HEAT Automotive increased headcount by twelve people, Today, HEAT Automotive is growing strong.

"Tom left a great position to go pursue a dream," says Steve Harpas, a founder and Director of Client Relations at HEAT Automotive."

HEAT Automotive has built a loyal customer base to include mechanics, dealerships, and individuals looking to replace their engine. HEAT Automotive stands behind each used and remanufactured engine and transmission, and provides warranties ranging from 90 days on parts only to lifetime parts and labor for used and remanufactured engines. Sexton has worked in the automotive industry for nearly 20 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the company, in addition to his tremendous leadership.

"Tom is extremely dedicated to everything he does," says Brad Rosenthal, a founder and Director of Employee Relations. "That explains why the company achieved $74,000 plus in revenue during five short days in the eleventh week of business. We are excited to be doing a record $75,000 a day in the third quarter of 2009. That's roughly 75 used and remanufactured engines and transmissions a day."
