AppFolio, Team Up to Make Property Managers Lives Easier

Property management software company AppFolio has partnered with international rental listing site to provide data integration. The partnership will allow AppFolio customers to advertise vacant rentals on with the click of a button with data they have already entered. This will increase the value that each company offers by saving property managers time and money.

Property management software industry leader AppFolio today announced that they will support in their United States launch by providing listing data to the international rental website starting in January of 2011. The move makes the property management business even easier for AppFolio’s customers as they add a proven industry leader to their growing list of advertising distribution. is the first international rental listing website, and offers free rental listings to any landlord, anywhere in the world. The site utilizes an innovative business model that rewards ad posters with higher ranking in search results for building better, more user friendly listings. The site was created by RentClicks founder David Borden, and will launch in the United States in January of 2011. RentClicks was the industry leader in rental listings for single family homes for rent and small unit listings before being acquired by Primedia in January of 2006.

AppFolio provides property managers with revolutionary software tools to greatly reduce the time spent on mundane, non-profitable property management tasks, and focus their efforts on growing their businesses. The property management software company, backed by multiple investors including Cisco, has burst onto the NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) scene in just two short years. Last week AppFolio joined RentClicks as the only back-to-back NARPM affiliate of the year winners in the organization’s history. The award is given for the affiliate member making the greatest contribution to the lives of the members as voted by the membership.

The partnership promises to accelerate the property management industry closer to the cutting edge of technology. It will allow property managers to take data they have already entered into AppFolio and distribute it to when the property becomes vacant and needs to be marketed for rental. This will save the property manager hours of data entry, and allow them to more effectively run and grow their businesses.

At the 2010 NARPM convention in Seattle, introduced their site to the NARPM membership. Of the 450 attendees, more than 50 signed up for a “All Access Pass” which allows unlimited access to all of the site's features and tools. This is an incredible number, and shows the members’ confidence in the leadership team. More than 8 past NARPM presidents were included in the first 50, and all have agreed to pay to use the premium features three months prior to the site’s United States launch.
