Rentapen Inc. has expanded their team since April 2011.

According to Milwaukee BizTimes, “Milwaukee is the second-best city in the nation for manufacturing, with a high concentration of diverse manufacturers and leader in manufacturing job creation in recent years.”

Rentapen Inc. a machine design company specializing in cost reductions for manufacturers, contributes to the manufacturing job expansion in the Waukesha area. Rentapen has added seven new members to their team since April 2011.

Rentapen has hired a Design Engineer Manager, Marketing Assistant, CAD Drafter, IT Programmer, Customer Order Manager, Shop Team Associate, and Shop Maintenance Associate. All Rentapen’s employees contribute to Rentapen’s mission, which is to reduce costs for manufacturers.

Rentapen Inc. first started in 1976 under the name Straley Services in Rockford, IL. In 1980 Rentapen moved to Waukesha, WI. Then Rentapen became a provider of 2D Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). Soon after Rentapen became experts in PRO/E 3D solid modeling.

Eight years ago Rentapen introduced major cost savings in weld fixture designs with their RAPid Tooling Components™.

Based from the Milwaukee BizTimes, “A recent study of the Wisconsin economy found that manufacturing comprises 32 percent of all jobs in Wisconsin and 35 percent of all earning in the state. Wisconsin is 88 percent more reliant on manufacturing that a typical state, reports ‘Growing Wisconsin,’ a study from the foundation of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.”

Rentapen has contributed to Wisconsin’s manufacturing workforce and has continued to expand, especially during these hard economic times.

Rentapen reduces costs for manufacturers in three ways; first is through Excellence in Machine Design, second is the standardized yet versatile RAPid Tooling Components, and third is the Just-In-Time Laser Cutting Services.
