The hotel in Long Beach has announced its new general manager, Mac McCann. McCann, a 22-year veteran of Marriott hotels, brings his attention to detail and proven managerial skills to the hotel in Long Beach.

McCann started his career with Marriott at the Irvine Marriott. There, he quickly succeeded as director of event management, convention services manager, banquet manager and catering service manager. He then joined the team at the Newport Beach Marriott as director of food and beverage, where he won awards for Food and Beverage Hotel of the Year for Marriott International in 2008 and Food and Beverage Hotel of the Year for Host Hotels and Resorts in 2009.
