Resolution Systems, Inc., (RSI) partnered with the Salvation Army of Greensboro to help ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ with the National Association of Letter Carriers (AFL-CIO) and the United States Postal Service this month. RSI staff volunteers helped Greensboro mail carriers unload and sort through two and a half (2 ½) tractor trailers full of donated non-perishable items.
“We were delighted to participate in this years ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ campaign,” said Company President Heather Kivett. “Resolution Systems is committed to positively contributing to the local community and we were proud to partner with the Salvation Army to volunteer for a campaign that directly benefits the community by providing food for those in need.”
In 2012, the ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive gathered more than 70 million pounds of food from across the United States. Since the campaign started over 20 years again it has produced 1.2 billion pounds of food donations to community food banks and pantries.
