New Italian Restaurant in Hershey

This Italian-American restaurant is soulful, not only in its décor but more so in its tastes. The best critics are those that seek the challenge of beating the taste of Café Vigneto’s meatball and smooth sauce.

“Café Vigneto’s is an eclectic medley of a dining experience and tastes for all that enter,” Owner, Russy Jean, says. Russy’s partner, chef and husband, Jason Jean both agree, Vigneto’s patrons are all ages, coming from different backgrounds and places to embark on a style that is unique to the other Italian restaurants in Hershey, Pa. Jason and Russy desired to give their customers an unperturbed feel from the colors of the walls, splashy metallic art, the open kitchen and the music and television that play during their dining. The multiple televisions are playing the greats like the Rat Pack; a sport channel for the ball enthusiast and news for business-minded, or a movie that is one of those, “I forgot about that.” Mission accomplished, Café Vigneto’s swathes you in a stylish and tense less space.

The best critics are those that seek the challenge of beating the taste of Café Vigneto’s meatball and smooth sauce. Owner and Chef, Jason Jean, feels that the greatest compliment is hearing from his customers, “I haven’t tasted gnocchi…braciole…a meatball like that, since my mother’s.” Michael Hatala, head chef, at Café Vigneto’s, says the menu is simply beautiful, simply designed and simply made. There is a toil of love and labor for food, with their menu boasting their pride lies within their fresh signature philosophy, “when we run out, it’s out.”

Chef Jean say their patrons have come to expect that their chicken and veal parmesan is fresh and hand pounded; the gnocchi, sweet potato gnocchi, and medley of cheese mix for shells, raviolis and pizza dough is handmade for the taste you have not had like anywhere. Russy Jean, owner, also imparts a strong sentiment that she wants her patrons to appreciate their meal and company while dining at Café Vigneto’s, and customers agree that they do not feel rushed to leave their seat, as they would typically feel in other establishments. When you visit Hershey, PA for its famous amusement park, attractions and chocolate, do not forget to visit this American-Italian restaurant, too!

To keep up with today’s modern technology Chef Jean enlisted the services of Fencl Web Design to develop an online reservation system for the web site, which checks the seating availability and even sends out an automated confirmation of the reservation.
