DemandTec, an IBM Company will provide its community of 18,000 active network members with access to a free trial of Locately on DemandTec, offering one custom mobile intercept survey plus access to the most current Pulse of the Shopper monthly research report published by Locately. For an added subscription fee, users may expand their use of Locately on DemandTec including one or more custom surveys per quarter, customized research using Locately’s pre-screened shopper panel, and access to all Pulse of the Shopper monthly reports.

The Locately engine uses GPS data from opt-in mobile phone users to understand which restaurants, stores, and other venues consumers visit and to send location-based mobile surveys to understand shopper decision-making. The offering allows retailers, manufacturers, and advertisers to better understand consumers and measure the impact of marketing efforts.
