We believe retailers can set themselves apart from their competition by offering superior service at store level – we see that played out time and time again at some of the top retailers.

Retailers are ramping up temporary labor hiring over the next several weeks as they prepare for increased sales and traffic in their stores this holiday season. Set and Service Resources has seen a 12% increase in Staffing Requests from their clients.

Every year, retailers increase their staffing levels during the October through December months, hiring people to work in retail stores, call centers and distribution warehouses, where they assist customers, ring up purchases and restock merchandise. Merchandising Service Organizations (MSOs) will be ramping up with temp labor to help retailers prepare their stores the Holidays. These Retail Workers will be checking stock inventory, filling shelves to capacity with product, cutting in new products and performing resets.

"We believe retailers can set themselves apart from their competition by offering superior service at store level – we see that played out time and time again at some of the top retailers. The only way to do that is to have enough trained retail associates in your store when customers are there,” said CEO Erik Hanvey ”With the spike in customers during the Holiday Season, hiring more retail associates ensures your customers get the answer they need and buy the product at your store."

Retail will bring a bright spot to the economy this year, as companies across the nation begin to ramp up for holiday and peak seasonal hiring early this year. Temporary Labor jobs in retail are plentiful adding Holiday cheer to everyone from retailers and job seekers to customers!
