Tyler Gillespie Brought on Board to Help Create Daily On-line Retail Automotive Newscast

CBT News, the daily news source for the retail automotive industry, recently announced the addition of Tyler Gillespie as Associate Creative Director.

Gillespie received his degree in Film, Cinema, Video Studies and Design at North Carolina State. He has been honing his craft in the Atlanta market for the last three years on programs for networks including Discovery Channel, CNN, Fox News and TLC.

“I am passionate about connecting to the modern consumer through media and design,” Gillespie says. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with and help grow some very unique, interesting brands and I’m excited to bring that experience to CBT News.”

Launched in 2012, CBT News is the official news source of the retail automotive industry. The web-based newscast combines the immediacy of the internet with a traditional broadcast news delivery format, complete with co-anchors and studio set, producing quality content often featuring interviews with leaders in the industry. The free site is rapidly growing, with over 25,000 subscribers. In addition to the newscast, the site is chock full of information for dealers, including sales tips, video clips and articles highlighting topics like social media marketing, inventory management, fixed ops and more.
