"My grandson was born extremely premature...and as a result has Cerebral Palsy and developmental delay. Thanks to RED Arena he's able to participate in a sport with other children..." says Screen Solutions owner Douglas J. Bennett.

Austin, Texas based manufacturer and sole North American distributor of the Plissé retractable screen is pleased to "pardner" up with RED Arena for this Saturday's annual Round-Up event.

RED (Riding Equines for the Disabled) Arena, of Dripping Springs, Texas, is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through a unique combination of equine and related therapies.

Screen Solutions Inc owner, Douglas J. "Doug the Screen Guy" Bennett, is happy to donate one of his company's custom-built Plissé retractable screens to the 2013 RED Arena Round Up Silent Auction.

"My first grandson was born extremely premature, weighing only 1 1/2 pounds at birth, and as a result has Cerebral Palsy and developmental delay. Thanks to RED Arena he is able to participate in a sport with other children, receive valuable therapy and increase his self-confidence. We couldn’t be happier to support such an amazing organization and effort," says Bennett.

“The Round-Up is an inclusive rodeo play day that promotes community and allows riders of all abilities to enjoy activities on horseback. Since all riders are on horses a level playing field is created,” said Jennifer Young, Executive Director and Founder of RED Arena.

In addition to the rodeo events, the 2013 Round-Up will also host a silent auction, provide community sponsored fair booth games, miniature horses, and a therapy dog obstacle course to enjoy. Screen Solutions has generously donated one of their innovative Plissé retractable screens to the silent auction this year.

The Plissé is a European, pleated-style retractable screen that Screen Solutions custom builds in their Dripping Springs, Texas facility. They ship their retractable screens all over the world for DIY customers to install on their own doors and windows but Screen Solutions also offers professional installation in the Austin metropolitan area. At this year’s RED Arena round-up the Plissé retractable screen being auctioned off will also include full measuring and professional installation to one lucky bidder.
