“Some women you meet just seem to have it all together and are at peace, no matter the circumstances,” Walker writes. “Why and what special talent or ability makes them so special? The short answer: God is in control and guiding their journey.”

Author Rhonda Walker shares true stories of real women dealing with modern problems and old stereotypes in her new book, “Beyond The Shadows is Tomorrow: Stories of Today's Women of Faith” (published by WestBow Press).

“I believe it is God’s wish that each of us use our experiences, both successes and failures, to demonstrate and witness to His love and forever presence,” writes Walker, who spent two years interviewing women for this book. “My ladies’ stories reveal insights applicable to all women who have struggles in life. May you become more aware of the great woman of God dwelling within you.”

Walker interviewed women from all walks of life for “Beyond The Shadows is Tomorrow,” and their stories will resonate with readers from a variety of backgrounds. No topic is off-limits, and there are candid discussions about infidelity, drugs and death. Each woman offers valuable insight on how to place traumas and emotions in perspective and allow God to take control.
